A SIMPLE GUIDE TO YOUR OPTIONS

Your loft.
The right approach.

Loft-floor insulation and rafter insulation do different jobs. We help you choose around the space you have, the insulation already in place and how you want to use it.

START WITH YOUR SPACE

A few useful questions.

Our own installation team works throughout the UK. Start with your postcode and a few loft photos.

  • Is the loft only for storage, or used as a room?
  • What insulation and boarding are already there?
  • Are there access restrictions or signs of damp?
Understand home heat loss
Do I need both floor and rafter insulation?

Not necessarily. One approach, or a carefully specified combination, may suit your property. We consider the whole arrangement rather than automatically recommending both.

Can I still use my loft for storage?

Tell us what you store and whether the loft is already boarded. Access, boarding and the insulation build-up need to be considered together; storage suitability is not determined by the material alone.
