THE MATERIAL. THE RIGHT INSTALLATION.

The Difference Is in the Detail

Eco Loft insulation comes in 100mm-thick rolls made from recycled plastic. Additional layers can be installed to increase insulation depth and help improve your home’s thermal performance.

With options to top up your existing insulation or install three layers for a greater overall depth, you can choose a solution that suits your property and insulation requirements.

We assess your loft and recommend a suitable installation to help improve your home’s thermal performance, without a one-size-fits-all approach.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Your questions, answered.

Should I insulate the loft floor or the rafters?

Floor-level insulation is usually considered where you want to keep heat in the rooms below and the loft remains an unheated storage space. Rafter insulation may suit a roof space you want to bring inside the insulated envelope. The roof construction, current insulation and intended use determine the appropriate specification. We can explain the options after reviewing your loft.

What is EcoLoft Non-Itch made from?

EcoLoft Non-Itch is a soft polyester insulation made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. It offers comfortable, non-itch handling without floating fibres. The thickness and installation detail are specified for your loft.

Can I have insulation at both loft-floor and rafter level?

A combined approach may sometimes form part of a considered design, but more layers in different locations are not automatically better. We first need to understand how the space will be heated and used, and how moisture and ventilation will be managed.

Can I keep using my loft for storage?

We can discuss storage access and existing boarding when planning the work. Insulation should not be compressed to make room for boards, and access routes need suitable support. Let us know what you need to store and share photographs of the current layout.

Can you improve the insulation already in my loft?

Potentially. We need to understand the material, condition and layout of the existing insulation before recommending an upgrade. Photos and details of any boarding are useful when you enquire.

What do you need to prepare a quotation?

Start with your postcode, approximate loft dimensions, how the space is used and any access restrictions. Photos can help us identify what further information is needed.
